POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the District Attorney in conducting criminal investigations and the preparation of cases for trial. Coordinates activities, gathers information from and shares information with other agencies and departments which may be involved in the disposition of the case.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates to fill a vacant position in this classification must submit to and pass a drug-screening test after meeting the following minimum requirements:
Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED; and Four years of progressively responsible related experience in law enforcement or investigations; AND
Licenses and Certifications: Valid State Driver's License
Must be Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) Certified with the POST Basic Law Enforcement Certification. In order to be considered, please include your BLE Certification number on your application.
Please provide a current, satisfactory, 3 year motor vehicle report (MVR), issued within the last 60 days. Non-certified copies of the MVR will not be accepted.
