Newton County Senior Services also offers recreational activities to those who are 55 plus and are residents of Newton County. You must be a registered member of the Senior Center to participate in activities.
Newton County Senior Services offers a variety of services and activities. For enrollment, call 770-787-0038. Registration and/or interviews are conducted on Tuesdays and Fridays only, 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Annual registration fee is $50.
Newton County Senior Services will transport within Newton County, persons who are active members of the Senior Center and are enrolled in daily programs to and from the Senior Center.
There is a $2 transportation charge for trips to and from the Senior Center. Transportation is only available to and from the Senior Center where routes are available. Transportation is paid daily.
Breakfast and lunch is provided Monday through Friday for seniors who are active in daily programs. Special meals are prepared during annual holiday luncheons and special events.
You must purchase a ticket for breakfast and lunch at the Senior Center front office.
Breakfast tickets for members are $1.00. Lunch tickets for members are $2 per ticket or you may purchase a book of 5 tickets for $10 at Senior Center.
Lunch ticket upon reservation for non-members are $4.
Home Delivery Meals are available for all qualified seniors who are 60 years old and live in Newton County. For more information, click here for Northeast Georgia AAA or call 1-800-474-7540.

Newton County Senior Services through the Older Americans Act of 1965, provide meals and nutrition education programs that are funded through local, state and federal funding. Grants from United Way, Snapping Shoals EMC, General Mills and private donors fund meals, recreational and wellness programs through the non-profit Newton County Senior Services, Inc.
Activities and Special Events are solely funded by donations and sponsorships. We solicit and encourage individual, private and corporate donations. All donations are tax deductible.
