Keep Newton Beautiful is proud to present the Rivers Alive cleanup effort on Saturday, Sept. 25

The City of Covington, Georgia Wildlife Federation, Keep Newton Beautiful, Newton County Board of Commissioners, Newton County Water Resources and the Newton County Water and Sewerage Authority are sponsoring the local Rivers Alive to help keep our waterways clean.

Interested volunteers can go to www.keepnewtonbeautiful.org to print and complete a registration form, sign release forms and send it to Keep Newton Beautiful at newtonclean@co.newton.ga.us.

The cleanup will begin with volunteers gathering at the Longhorn Steakhouse, 6112 Pavillion Way, Covington at 9 a.m. for free breakfast, T-shirts and cleanup supplies. Volunteers will then split up into teams, travel to cleanup sites and clean.
